The Ferst Center for the Arts, located in the heart of the Georgia Tech campus, is a brilliant showcase for the presentation of concerts, recitals, lectures, dance, film, and theater. This state-of-the-art facility housing an intimate 1,155-seat auditorium featuring a proscenium stage, orchestra pit, and theatrical lighting and sound systems, is designed to provide a wealth of diverse and enriching opportunities for both the Georgia Tech and greater Atlanta community.

The Georgia Tech Library and Information Center is a national leader in providing technologically robust environments in support of student learning and received the 2007 Excellence in Academic Libraries Award. The Library is an active participant in the teaching, research, and service mission of Georgia Tech. Visitors can take advantage of various Library resources, such as computer usage, database access, and research services.

Located in Technology Square, Barnes & Noble @ Georgia Tech offers 70,000 books, 13,000 DVD and music titles, and sheet music along with computer equipment, electronics, digital cameras, college textbooks, and Georgia Tech-branded merchandise and gifts. As a vibrant part of Atlanta and Georgia Tech, the bookstore hosts community events including author appearances, open-mic poetry nights, storytelling for children, and "Saturday Nights at Starbucks", featuring jazz and acoustic music.
